You drop a ball, it bounces down a pyramid of pins, and it lands in a slot worth some multiple of your bet. What most Plinko pages never tell you is why the ball lands where it does, or how you can check that the result wasn't decided against you after you pressed the button.

What decides where the ball lands
Nothing about the animation decides the outcome. The ball path you watch is a rendering of a result that was already fixed before the ball moved.
Three inputs produce it:
- Server seed — generated by Power.win before play, immediately hashed with SHA-256. You are shown the hash, not the seed. The hash is a commitment: it proves the seed cannot be swapped later.
- Client seed — generated on your side, in your browser. You can replace it with a value of your own at any time.
- Nonce — a counter that starts at 0 and increases by one with every bet, so two identical bets never produce the same result.
Those three run through a cryptographic hash function to produce a deterministic output. Because the server seed was committed in advance, the client seed is yours, and the nonce only counts upwards, no party can influence the result after the bet is placed.
The payout row
Multipliers sit lowest in the centre and climb steeply toward the edges. The row observed on the live game runs:

The row is symmetrical — the same values mirror on both sides.
That shape is the whole game. A ball has to bounce the same direction almost every time to reach an edge, which is rare. It reaches the centre by bouncing roughly evenly, which is common. So the centre slots pay back less than the stake (0.2× returns a fifth of what you bet) and the edges pay the headline numbers precisely because you will land there very seldom.
A worked example. Stake 1 USDT. Land in a centre slot and you get 0.2 USDT back — a loss of 0.8. Land on the fourth slot at 9.1× and you get 9.1 back. The 1000× edge exists, and it is the reason people play, but the payout table is telling you plainly how often you should expect to reach it: almost never.
Power.win publishes the multiplier row in the game itself. Check the live table before you bet — the configuration shown in-game is the one that applies to your round, and it is the only figure worth relying on.
How to verify a round yourself
After you rotate your seeds, the previous server seed is revealed. At that point you can reproduce any past round:
- Take the revealed server seed, your client seed, and the nonce for the round in question.
- Hash the same combination the game used.
- Compare the output to the result you were given.

You can also confirm the commitment held: hash the revealed server seed and check it matches the hash you were shown before you played. If it matches, the seed was not changed mid-session.
What Plinko does not do
It does not have a strategy. The nonce increments and the seeds are fixed, so no sequence of previous rounds tells you anything about the next one. Any pattern you notice in past results is a pattern in numbers that have already been generated, not a signal about the ones that haven't.
Changing your client seed changes future results, but it does not improve them. It is a fairness control, not an edge.
